Extraordinary Attorney Woo is charming it’s way through Indian audience alongside the world and here’s a happy news for anyone looking out for a happy slife of life comedy k-drama. The 2022 South Korean k-drama ‘Never Give Up’ will finally come to Netflix India. The show premiered on May 4th and ran till June 23rd, 2022. The 16 episode series is a bromance as well and will stream on Netflix India from August 4th.
Never Give Up is basically a comedy-drama about a forty something chicken shop owner named Gu Pil-Su without a home, and a businessman in his early twenties named Jung Suk who dreams of starting a business but has no money. Their relationship over the course of the series moves back and forth. Gu Pil-Su is also a former boxer who has even won a rookie of the year award. He worked his way through different jobs and experienced ups and downs.He is married, has a son and works in a small bar. On the other hand Jung Suk is an extremely smart man. His parents were poor. Nevertheless, he was eventually accepted into the most prestigious university in Seoul. He believes the only to way to success is to fund a start-up.
The drama stars veteran actor Kwak Do Won and Yoon Doo Joon in major roles. Kwak Do Won has earlier been in many Korean films and has appeared in the dramas “The Suspicious Housekeeper”, “Good Doctor”, and “Ghost.” Never Give Up is Yoon Doo Joon’s return to k-drama land after his military enlistment. Han Go Eun, Park Won Sook and rookie actor Jeong Dong Won also play supporting parts in the drama.
Never Give Up is joint-directed by Choi Do Hoon, Yook Jeong Yong and written by Son Geun Joo, Lee Hae Ri and Jo Ji Young. This slice of life comedy is bound to make your heart smile. Besides heartwarming performances, the show also boasts of some really relating moments. Stay tuned for more updates.
