K-Drama ‘The Uncanny Counter’ Season 2 Release Date On Netflix

Korean supernatural comedy drama ‘The Uncanny Counter‘ was an unqualified hit for streaming giant Netflix, when the series first streamed on the platform back in 2020. Now, three years later, the evil spirits-hunting show will be back on Netflix for a much-awaited Season 2. ‘The Uncanny Counter’ Season 2 premieres on Netflix worldwide on 29th July, which is this Saturday.

The new season of The Uncanny Counter is titled ‘The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch’. Like the debut season of the show, Season 2 will also stream in the form of one episode every Saturday and Sunday, which means two episodes every weekend, starting from July 29, 2023. The Uncanny Counter centres on a bunch of paranormal-hunters who search for and fight against evil spirits that escape from the afterlife to prey on humans. The series stars popular Korean actors Jo Byeong-kyu, Yoo Jun-sang, Kim Se-jeong, Yeom Hye-ran, Ahn Suk-hwan, and Yoo In-soo in pivotal roles. The stellar cast has earlier acted in hit shows such as A Business Proposal, Alchemy of Souls, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, The Glory, among others. The Uncanny Counter Season 2 is directed by Yoo Seon-dong, who had also directed Season 1.

The official synopsis for The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch reads – “Armed with new powers and fresh recruits, the Counters continue their battle against evil demons who feed on humans”.
