Poised to make her digital debut with a hard-hitting short film, ‘Devi’, Kajol took to Instagram to reveal the first poster of the short film with her fans, along with sharing that the first teaser of Devi will arrive on 24th February.
Devi has generated immense interest in social media circles, with fans keen to know what the short film is all about. Adding to the intrigue surrounding the film is the caption that Kajol wrote along with the poster. Here is what she wrote, “A tale of nine women navigating through an unusual sisterhood thrust upon them by circumstance.
The teaser of our powerful short film drops on 24th February 2020!” The poster is blunt, blustering and brusque. Nine long-suffering women, all from diverse generations and class, stare out of the poster with identical mutinous expressions — as if to say — enough!
Kajol, Shruti Haasan, Neha Dhupia, Neena Kulkarni, Mukta Barve, Sandhya Mhatre, Rama Joshi, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Yashaswini Dayama are those nine women that form a strange but comforting sisterhood in Devi, each drawing strength from the other.
The first look poster has amped up interest and excitement about Devi exponentially, and, we bet, viewers can’t wait to catch the short film once it premieres.
