Makers of ‘Chandramukhi 2’, the stand alone sequel to the hit 2005 Tamil film ‘Chandramukhi’ have unveiled the first look of Kangana Ranaut from the film and she looks majestically elegant in the traditional attire.
Kangana is wearing a green dress designed by Neeta Lulla that has some very intricate design details coupled with royal jewellery giving her a flattering appearance overall.
Written and directed by P. Vasu who also helmed the first part, ‘Chandramukhi 2’ is a comedy horror film starring Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut, Vadivelu, Srushti Dange, Lakshmi Menon, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Mahima Nambiar, Rao Ramesh and Vignesh among others.
‘Chandramukhi 2’ has music from Academy Award winning ‘RRR’ fame M.M. Keeravani. The film is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under his Lyca Productions banner.
‘Chandramukhi 2’ is a sequel to ‘Chandramukhi’ that is a remake of Kannada film Apthamitra which itself is a remake of Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu. Moreover, the film also has a Hindi version that we popularly know as ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’.
Now that the Hindi sequel ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ was a major box office hit, it will be interesting to see what entails as Chandramukhi 2’s plot and how it will perform. Will there be similarities between the two sequels or are they going to be entirely different is now a matter of time as ‘Chandramukhi 2’ releases in theatres this Ganesh Chaturthi on 19th September, 2023 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
