Kannada Movies have been on a roll since the start of 2024 with massive films released every month and with movies like Yuva, Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi and Duniya Vijay’s Bheema, the Kannada Film Industry attracted several eyeballs.
Fans have showered their love and attraction for the Kannada Industry which has proven to be beneficial in terms of gross collection as well as popularity. However, this trend of having a star-studded lineup each month will be on halt for September.
September sees a short pause in the release of huge Kannada Films as there isn’t any huge name or project on the go for this month. With films like Ibbani Tabbida Illeyali and Ronny to release on the 5th and 12th of September respectively, there might be no huge film set to release in September.
Fans might have to wait to see another epic tale unfold in the Kannada Film industry as Dhruva Sarja’s Martin marches towards the theatres on 11th October whereas the next big and anticipated release comes in Shiva Rajkumar’s Bharathi Ranagal.
August had several huge films on display including Ishq, Bheema, Gowri, Powder, Laughing Buddha, and Krshnam Pranaya Sakhi which received positive reviews from the audience. Their collections also indicate how promising the industry looked throughout August.
The most recent film that felt like a festival for Kannada fans was Bheema which has collected 23 crores till now at the box office after its initial release on August 9th. With no huge film in store for September, empty theatres and shows will hugely affect the industry’s overall growth and might drop the recently rising graph of the Kannada Film Industry.
