Karan Johar Announces “Yodha” Starring Siddharth Malhotra

Shershaah is back in action!

Karan Johar has announced a new project under Dharma Productions, Yodha, starring Siddharth Malhotra. The filmmaker released a couple of official movie posters to give this news on Twitter.

Siddharth Malhotra will lead the project with the directional duo of Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre at the helm. However, Johar didn’t mention the name of the movie’s female leads. He said in his tweet to wait for their official reveals. Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan will serve as the movie’s producers alongside Johar.

In addition to the official posters, Johar also mentioned the release date of Yodha in his tweet. The upcoming Dharma project has a release date next year, November 11. One more thing is that this movie will be the first entry in the Yodha franchise. Dharma Productions has planned an entire movie series in this franchise. The filmmaker didn’t reveal anything about whether it will be an anthology series or a continuation of a single plot.

After the mega-success of Shershaahthis year, Malhotra’s Bollywood career has taken a new turn. Or should we say that his career has revived? No matter what we call this situation but one thing is for sure. He is in the prime of his career now.

Other than Yodha, Malhotra has been chosen alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh for the upcoming movie, Thank You. Additionally, he is rumoured to collab with Rohit Shetty for a cop web series. However, we have no official confirmation about this project.
