Karan Johar To Return With ‘Koffee With Karan Season 7’

Koffee With Karan is undoubtedly one of the biggest chat shows in India. From prominent Indian cinema figures to talented cricketers, several have received a chance to sit on the popular (and sometimes controversial) couch. Season 6 turned out to be a rollercoaster ride for Karan Johar and the rest of his production team. The iconic trio of Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and helmer S. S. Rajamoulli graced the previous season with their magnetic presence. However, it faced a severe backlash from the viewers for the controversial ‘Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul’ episode. Star World India had no alternative but to remove that episode from its promotional content because of the former’s controversial comments. Many reports hinted that Johar would not return to host the show in future during that time. But it seems like they were all wrong. Here is what we know about Koffee With Karan Season 7!

Johar is currently busy in the production work of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with the leading duo of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The filming is expected to wrap in May. After that, the well-known Hindi film director will return to host the forthcoming season of Koffee With Karan. So, we can expect the show to arrive on Star India Network sometime in June this year.

Just like every season of Koffee With Karan, the seventh instalment will feature many popular figures from the film industry including Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, and many more. Rashmika Mandanna has starred alongside Malhotra in Shantanu Bagchi’s Mission Majnu, scheduled to hit the theatres on June 10th. It is her first-ever Hindi project. She is also set to appear in the upcoming seventh season.

Koffee With Karan Season 7 may premiere on the Star World channel during this year’s June-July window. Plus, all seasons of the show are available on the Disney+ Hotstar streaming service. So, we can expect the forthcoming season to hit the OTT platform as well. Stay tuned for more updates.
