After the resounding success of Karan Johar and Dharma Productions’ ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani’, the filmmaker has just announced his new film. In true tongue-twister fashion, Karan Johar’s new film is titled ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’.
The just announced film, ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, SSKTK in short, also has a confirmed release date in theatres. The romantic comedy hits theatres worldwide on 18th April, 2025. Dharma Productions’ new film will enjoy an extended weekend at the theatres, it being the Good Friday holiday on 18th April, 2025.
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor play the lead roles in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Going by the title announcement video, the two actors are Sunny Sanskari and Tulsi Kumari respectively, in the movie. The rom-com is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, frequent Dharma Movies collaborator. Shashank Khaitan has earlier directed Varun Dhawan in two other Dharma movies – Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
Going by the title of the movie, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari seems to be a spiritual successor to the first two Shashank Khaitan – Varun Dhawan movies. Pritam has scored the music of SSKTK, while Amitabh Bhattacharya has written the lyrics. No other information is available on the rest of the cast and crew of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
