Disney+ Hotstar has dropped an intriguing trailer of ‘Karm Yuddh’, it’s latest upcoming gripping web series. Created by Kailashnath Adhikari and Ravi Adhikari, ‘Karm Yuddh’ will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 30th September, 2022.
‘Karm Yuddh’ trailer shows how the Hotstar Special series is set in Kolkata and revolves around the influential Roy family. But this city of joy is soon set to turn into a bloody battleground as the power fued ensues amongst the Roys.
A senior member of the Roy family, played by Satish Kaushik, is seen having issues with Indrani Roy (Paoli Dam) another powerful family member, who does not shy away from making the matter public while also not disclosing the details.
But it isn’t just any ordinary family matter, instead the hunger for power reaches a whole new level as some enthralling discoveries come to light and the authorities get involved. Turns out Indrani’s step son Abhimanyu Roy, whom she supposedly love like her own, falls in love with a girl which later gets controversial.
There’s also a battle for inheritance of the family business empire where it’s an emotional fight for Indrani where as it’s about his legacy for Mr. Roy. But a lot more is happening in ‘Karm Yuddh’ that’s very interesting and keeps you kind of hooked to know what’s happening.
What’s surprising here is the way Disney+ Hotstar has silently introduced ‘Karm Yuddh’ on the platform directly with a trailer and no info or buzz whatsoever before it. The multi starrer web series did not even get a poster prior to the trailer drop. All this seems a bit too hurried with just ten days to go for the series premiere.
