On the occasion of Karthi’s birthday today makers of his upcoming multi-lingual film ‘Japan’ have unveiled the intro video for the ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ star.
The video begins with the build up of what others perceive of Karthi’s character in the film. While for some he is a hero who’s beyond confession or absolution of sins, some think of him as a comedian and then there are others who consider him a bloody dangerous villain.
It’s after all this that the video offers a glimpse of Karthi as Japan who appears in a massy, quirky and entertaining avatar and has a cool, badass action style.
Directed Raju Murugan, ‘Japan’ also stars Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, and Vijay Milton among others. The film is a GV Prakash Kumar musical with cinematography by S. Ravi Varman and editing from Philomin Raj.
‘Japan’ is produced by S R Prakash Babu and S R Prabu under their Dream Warrior Pictures banner. Set for Diwali 2023 release, ‘Japan’ will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam in theatres.
