Young Telugu actor Karthikeya is pinning high hopes on his maiden Tamil film, Valimai which has superstar Ajith Kumar in the lead role. The high-octane action drama is one of the most anticipated films in Tamil cinema. The film will be out in theatres next Sankranthi season, as confirmed by the movie unit. Coming to the topic, Karthikeya has opened up about Valimai in his latest interaction with media. He stated Valimai will create a big impact not just in Tamil cinema but also in Indian cinema.
“I was indeed overwhelmed when H. Vinoth and Ajith sir’s project came knocking on my door. But the reason why I signed the project was only due to the script. I simply found no reason to reject a script as good as this one. Working with Ajith sir was a rewarding experience for me. The best thing about him is that he treats each and every person on the set in the same manner. At one point, I felt I was playing the hero in the film. His humbleness is all class. Vinoth’s vision and his attention for detail are impeccable. I am sure that Valimar will not just create a lasting impact in Tamil cinema but also in Indian cinema.” Karthikeya says.
Adding further, Karthikeya says he plays a menacing baddie in the film and the confrontational scenes between him and Ajith will be one of the major highlights of the Vinoth directorial. “I play a character that is super strong both mentally and physically”, he concludes.
