Hollywood actor Kevin Bacon has been roped in to play the lead role in a Prime Video action series titled ‘The Bondsman’. The show will consist of eight episodes with a runtime of around thirty minutes each and is being backed by Jason Blum’s Blumhouse films and television production studio.
The underlying plot of Prime Video’s ‘The Bondsman’ revolves around a bounty hunter named Hub Halloran (to be played by Kevin Bacon), who comes back from the dead. The protagonist realizes that he has got a second chance at life, love, and a nearly forgotten musical career but he finds out that his old job has a demonic twist.
Erik Oleson, who was the showrunner of the critically acclaimed series ‘Daredevil Season-3’ and Prime Video’s fantasy drama show ‘Carnival Row Season-2’, will also serve as the showrunner and executive producer of Amazon Prime Video’s ‘The Bondsman’ starring Kevin Bacon.
‘The Bondsman’ is not the first time Kevin Bacon has collaborated with the Prime Video streaming service. Because earlier, he has also played the main role in the Prime Video comedy series ‘I Love Dick’.
Besides starring in many popular films such as ‘Tremors’, ‘JFK’, ‘A Few Good Men’, ‘Apollo 13’, ‘Hollow Man’, ‘Mystic River’, and ‘X-Men: First Class’, Kevin Bacon has also lent his acting skills for some television shows like the crime thriller ‘The Following’, and the crime drama series ‘City On a Hill’, amongst others.
