“#KGFChapter1 will play in select screens from April8-13 across the country at subsidised rates. Go relive Rocky bhai entering Narachi and gear up to watch what he does next”.
Ahead of the most anticipated movie ‘KGF: Chapter 2‘s’ release, the makers decided to re-release the first part on selected screens across the country at subsidised rates. With the chapter2 releasing this April 14th, re-releasing chapter 1 seems like a marketing strategy to boost the second part’s promotion. Audiences who’ll missed the chapter 1 will come back, also the diehard fans will revisit the theatres to see their favourite star Yash starring as ‘Rocky’.
Touted as one of the most anticipated movies of the year, with the trailer already breaking massive records, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ is all slated hit the screens on 14th April 2022 in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. With time Rocky bhai’s craze is getting overwhelming as fans are getting tattoos of the superstar Yash.
Chapter 1 revolves around Rocky, a high-ranking killer in Mumbai, who was born poor. After his employer’s boss gave him the complete control over Mumbai, he masked himself as a slave laborer in the Narachi limestone mine (Kolar Gold Fields), with an intention to assassinate Garuda (Ramachandra Raju), the future successor of Kolar Gold Fields.
‘KGF:Chapter 2’ primarily centres around how Rocky will face his own fears and battle out against his biggest enemy Adheera(Sanjay Dutt).
K.G.F.: Chapter 2 is written and directed by Prashanth Neel, one of the most eminent directors, and financed by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner.
Ahead of it’s release, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ was sent to the Central Board of Film Certification and it received a UA certificate from CBFC.
According to the certificate, the film’s theatrical runtime is 168 minutes (2 hours and 48 minutes).
