Netflix has dropped the trailer for Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming crime series ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’ and this is one gripping action packed drama. Created by Pandey (‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, ‘Baby’, ‘Special 26’, ‘Naam Shabana’, ‘A Wednesday’), ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’ will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 25th November, 2022.
‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’ trailer shows how an honest police officer and dreaded criminal came face to face from opposing directions and none of them is ready to back out. While for one it was about freeing the society of crime, for the other it was about his ego and maintaining his power and fear amongst the people and system.
The trailer also reveals how it’s not going to be an easy task for the cop to carry on his mission in a complicated system that often prefers to remain silent. There’s a lot of guns blazing, gangs causing violence to fill everyone with their fear but it ain’t gonna shake the courage of this police officer who is hell bent on taking the mastermind down. ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’ is an epic, action-packed battle of cop Vs crime and is full of twists, turns and guns.
Inspired by true story of how Bihar’s most dangerous criminal was caught, ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’ is a cop-and-crime series set during the early 2000s in the heartland of Bihar and follows the epic tussle between two men on both sides of the law — one a feared gang lord and the other a fiercely upright Indian Police Service officer Amit Lodha.
Directed by Bhav Dhulia, ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’ was shot in extreme trying circumstances at Jharkhand and Bihar across multiple Covid waves and stars Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwary, Ashutosh Rana, Jatin Sarna, Nikita Dutta, Ravi Kishan, Abhimanyu Singh, Anup Soni, Aishwarya Sushmita, Shraddha Das and Vinay Pathak.
