Netflix has unveiled the teaser of their upcoming original film Kill Boksoon. After a long long time, we have a Korean film that looks highly dramatic and attractive.
The movie automatically becomes extremely promising because of the director Byung Sung Hyun. Byung is known for films like “The Merciless” and “Kingmaker.”
It stars Jeon Do-Yeon, winner of the best actress prize at Cannes. It will show her as a confused character juggling between the job of a professional killer and mother to a teenage daughter.
She is a sharp killer and is one of the best-performing employees at a killing company. Despite her unparalleled performance she is skeptical about renewing her contract solely because of the doubts surrounding raising her daughter.
The dilemma of the lead character becomes even more prominent when she is given a parent-teacher meeting as her next killing target. Quite obviously it reminds her of her own daughter and her responsibilities towards her.
We can also see Koo Kyo-hwan, Sul Kyung-gu, and E Som in important roles in the movie.
The movie has a really interesting logline as we usually see mothers juggling between normal jobs and children. Having killing as a job makes it both hilarious and tempting.
You may start watching the film on Netflix from the 31st of March.
