Kill Intends to Capture Digital US Audience; But Why?

Kill has been released. The movie by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment is ultra violent with very high critical appreciation. It is not a film that you watch for story or shock, but only and only action.

Kill is going to be a great watch for those who love gore action and are not much bothered about the story aspect. Kill targets the same audience that films like Extraction do.

Regardless, the movie did not open very well at the box office. It had a lot of potential but the movie suffered due to a lack of on-ground promotion and the dwarfness it felt in front of Kalki 2898 AD. We realize that Kill was severely threatened by Kalki 2898 AD and our prediction came out right at least for the first day.

Regardless, Kill is now trying to digitally capture the American audience. The film is available to pre-book on Amazon Prime Video Store for $14.99 which roughly translates into ₹1251. It will be available to stream from July 23.

However, it is not true for India as the film will stream digitally on Disney+Hotstar after a minimum of 8 weeks. Let’s see what kind of reception it receives from the American audience as violence like Kill is exciting for Indians, not Americans.
