The trend of relentless and gory action has multiplied throughout the last few years. No wonder people love watching films like Extraction and John Wick which offer no substantial story other than killings. India is not well ahead in this genre but Indians seem to be loving it. Dharma Productions realised the potential of such films and perhaps that is the reason we are seeing a film like Kill now coming to the big screens.
The movie is shot on a small budget with a major chunk of money just flowing in the action choreography. Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala are playing the leads and we all know that they are pretty fresh faces in the industry.
The story is simple. A commando is on a train which is attacked by a band of bandits and the commando gets activated to rescue not only his girl but the entire passengers.
The action looks highly promising. It is indeed extremely gory. We have had hints of such kinda bloody unsettling action in movies like NH 10. But, Kill takes it to a whole new level which is pretty crazy. The movie is set to be released on the 5th of July and Karan Johar needs to market it solely on the basis of action. Let’s see what the clever man does.
