‘Kingdom of the Planet of Apes’: Trailer, Release Date, Streaming Platform, Cast, Plot

The trailer for upcoming sci-fi action film ‘Kingdom of the Palnet of Apes’ is out now and it’s all surreal. Helmed by Wes Ball, ‘Kingdom of the Planet of Apes’ is a sequel to the 2017 film ‘War for the Planet of Apes’ and is the fourth instalment in the ‘Planet of the Apes’ reboot franchise.

‘Kingdom of the Planet of Apes’ is set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

Directed by Wes Ball (‘Maze Runner’ trilogy), ‘Kingdom of the Planet of Apes’ stars Owen Teague(‘IT’), Freya Allan (‘The Witcher’), Kevin Durand (‘Locke & Key’), Peter Macon (‘Shameless’), and William H. Macy (‘Fargo’).

The screenplay for ‘Kingdom of the Planet of Apes’ is written by Josh Friedman (‘War of the Worlds’), Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (‘Avatar: The Way of Water’) and Patrick Aison (‘Prey’), based on characters created by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.

Wes Ball, Joe Hartwick, Jr. (‘The Maze Runner’), Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Jason Reed (‘Mulan’) are the producers for ‘Kingdom of the Planet of Apes’, with Peter Chernin (the ‘Planet of the Apes’ trilogy) and Jenno Topping (‘Ford v. Ferrari’) serving as executive producers. ‘Kingdom of the Planet of Apes’ will release in theatres on 24th May 2024.
