Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes Gets Strong Positive Early Reviews

The early reviews of ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ have surfaced – and they are looking really good. Praises have been directed at the cast’s performances, Wes Ball’s direction, and the film’s VFX.

Set 300 years after the events of War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes follows a young chimpanzee, Noa, believed to be one of Caesar’s descendants, as he embarks on a journey to bring justice to his father’s death at the hands of Proximus Caesar. However, the world has significantly changed. The number of ape civilizations has increased substantially, whereas humans have regressed into a primitive, feral state. In his journey, he receives the aid of a human survivor, Mae.

Most of the early reactions towards ‘Kingdom’ have been positive. However, some critics have pointed out the film’s slow pacing, compared to previous Apes entries. But it does one hell of a job at setting up the Ape world and exploring Caesar’s legacy. In addition, the film’s visuals have received unanimous praise.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will arrive in theatres worldwide on May 10, 2024. It stars Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, William H. Macy, Neil Sandilands, and more. Stay tuned for more updates. Check out the film’s early reviews below!
