Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes Rotten Tomatoes Score Is Out

Early positive reactions to Wes Ball’s upcoming project, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, were largely positive. The film premiered first at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on May 2, where it received fantastic response from critics, who praised the film’s emotional aspects, visuals, and performances.

On Rotten Tomatoes, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes currently has a ‘fresh’ score of 85%, based on 96 certified critic reviews. This score will surely change after the film arrives in theatres globally on May 10, 2024. Still, this is a good sign, as it proves that the latest instalment is a worthy entry to the Planet of the Apes franchise.

Kingdom’s RT score (85%) is higher than Rise of the Planet of the Apes (82%), but lower than Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (91%) and War for the Planet of the Apes (94%). ‘War’ is still the highest rated entry in the rebooted Planet of the Apes franchise.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes stars Owen Teague (Noa), Freya Allan (Mae), Kevin Durand (Proximus Caesar), Peter Macon (Raka), William H. Macy (Trevathan), Neil Sandilands (Koro, Nora’s father), and more. It will come out in theatres worldwide on May 10. Stay tuned for more updates.
