Kingsman 3: Matthew Vaughn Finalises The Film’s Start & End

Matthew Vaughn is currently busy writing the final instalment of the Kingsman series, Kingsman 3. The third entry will feature the return of Colin Firth as the stylish and highly skilled British spy, Harry Hart, and his smart, cheeky, but loyal successor, Eggsy (played by Taron Egerton). The project has been in development for over seven years. Fans watched the last Kingsman movie from the original series, The Golden Circle, in 2017. And Vaughn wants to release Kingsman 3 sooner than later.

In a recent interview with Collider, Matthew Vaughn disclosed that he had prepared Kingsman 3’s beginning and ending. But he is yet to write the film’s middle part. In addition, he wants to release the film soon, as he does not want his stars to get too old for the project.

“So Kingsman 3, we’ve got to get on with before Colin [Firth] is way too old and dare I say it, Taron’s [Egerton] getting on as well. So, Kingsman 3 is definitely the conclusion of their relationship. Act one is being written. Act three is being written. Act Two needs some work, right? And so we know how it ends, we know how it begins.”

Kingsman 3 is yet to receive an official title from Vaughn. In September 2020, it was given the working title of ‘Kingsman: The Blue Blood’. Additionally, Vaughn has revealed in the past that the upcoming entry will conclude the relationship between Hart and Eggsy.

Apart from Kingsman 3, the franchise is set to get two more entries – a spin-off limited series based on the American spy agency, Statesman, and The King’s Man: The Traitor King. Stay tuned for more updates. You can stream all Kingsman films on Disney+ Hotstar.
