The title of ‘GV25’ is now announced. The 25th film of G. V. Prakash will also be the first film from his production house. ‘Kingston’ will be an ocean adventure film. It is said that the movie will be the first sea-horror film from India.
Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Hassan has unveiled the first look poster of the Tamil film. He also called off the muhurat shot of the movie. Kingston will also be releasing in Telugu and Hindi.
G. V Prakash will be playing the lead role in the movie and also act as the producer for it. His ‘Bachelor’ co-actor Divya Bharathi will be playing the female lead opposite Prakash. The movie is written and directed by filmmaker Kamal Prakash. The cinematography of the movie is handled by Gokul Benoy and the music is composed by GV Prakash himself. Dhilip Subbarayan has handled the action choreography.
The full name of the movie is ‘Kingston: And The Cursed Sea’. The poster is quite intriguing. It features a single man with a long stick in his hand on a small fishing boat in the endless sea. There are piles of skeletons everywhere and a humongous wave of bones and skulls is proceeding towards him while he raises one hand to touch it. The plot and release dates are not revealed yet. But the movie looks quite interesting. There has been no significant work in the genre of horror in India for long. Let us see if Kingston can break the spell and offer us a horror movie of some quality.
