Know What Netflix Is Doing Wrong With Enola Holmes 2 Promotions !

Enola Holmes 2 is now streaming on Netflix and it seems like something is wrong with the marketing and promotional strategies of the film.

‘Enola Holmes 2’ has Millie Bobby Brown as the titular character. She has gained a huge fan base with her performance in ‘Stranger Things’. And there are amazing actors like Henry Cavill, Louis Partridge, Helena Botham Carter, David Thewlis in important characters.

Usually when a sequel or spin-off is released, the first movie trends on the platform. The views suddenly surge and it creates a buzz for the sequel. At the time of release of Money Heist Seasons 2, 3, 4, 5 and also the 2nd, 3rd and 4th seasons of Stranger Things it was seen that the first season for both the shows were trending on Netflix. It always happens with sequels for shows and movies as well. Even the cult classic Forrest Gump was trending at the time of its remake ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ theater release. But there is no noticeable increment in the views of the first installment of the ‘Enola Holmes’ franchise.

The first movie ‘Enola Holmes’ garnered a good amount of views at the time of its release in 2020 and it had been trending for quite a long time. Netflix should have promoted the film with some better Strategies so that it could reach newer audiences and they would feel intrigued to watch the first film before watching the sequel. There are lots of people who have not watched the first movie and most probably they will not watch the sequel first. It happens with every franchise and every series; whenever the show reaches new audiences they want to see the first one. And this is evidently not happening for Enola Holmes.
