A new Korean thriller is all set to premiere on OTT this week. ‘The Roundup: No Way Out’ will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video soon. The 1 hour 45 minutes movie will premiere on the 24th of August and you will be able to watch it in five languages: Korean, English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
‘The Roundup: No Way Out’ tells the story of a detective named Ma Seok-do who joins a new squad to investigate the case of a murder. But he soon realizes that it is not just a simple murder but there is much more going on. The murder is related to a dangerous synthetic drug that is being circulated and it involves a number of gangsters. He has to now fight these gangsters.
The movie serves as a sequel to the 2022 movie ‘The Roundup’ and the third movie in the Crime City Series. The movie is directed by Lee Sang-yong and stars a plethora of talented actors. Ma Dong-seok plays the lead role and also acts as a producer for the movie. There are other actors like Lee Joon-hyuk, Munetaka Aoki, Lee Beom-soo, Kim Min-jae, Lee Ji-hoon, Ko Kyu-pil, Jeon Seok-ho, Choi Dong-gu in other important roles.
Korean crime thrillers are very enjoyable and have gained a huge fanbase in India over the years. If you have liked The Outlaws and The Roundup, you are going to like this movie as well. Watch it on Prime Video when it premieres on the 24th of August.
