Kota Factory Season 3 started streaming on Netflix India last week. Needless to say, Kota Factory is one of the most powerful acquisitions of Netflix India. Unlike other platforms, Netflix India doesn’t have many shows from TVF but looks like Kota Factory works enough.
Regardless, the reception of the series was quite usual. People loved it but critics thought that it could have been far better than what it came out to be. Because all Vaibhav was doing in the series was complaining and all Jeetu Bhaiya was doing was to solve his problems.
So what about the views?
Kota Factory: Season 3 went on to become the 7th most-watched non-English series on Netflix last week. This means that the series got a world ranking of 7 in its category. (We know it’s bad humour).
Let’s compare it with the benchmark i.e. Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Against the 5,500,000 hours of Kota Factory Season 3, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar earned an astounding 33,000,000. That’s a massive 6 times more.
If something like Kota Factory Season 3 is only 1/6th of Heeramandi then you can imagine the kind of insane success Heeramandi is. Regardless, the views of Kota Factory Season 3 are not bad either.
