The official trailer for ‘Kraven The Hunter’ is out now. The Marvel film will tell the story of another villain with superhuman strength and how he went on to become what he became. The film is directed by J.C Chandor.
In the Marvel comics, Kraven is said to be a strong villain who can take down any prey with his bare hands and his sole purpose is to beat Spider-man. He is occasionally seen fighting against Black Panther as well.
The trailer teases that the film will be a wonderful origin story of a ruthless villain that can play the adversary against the likes of Spider-man. The trailer is violent and gory and it will mark Sony’s first R-rated movie. Kraven is shown to be biting off somebody’s nose. Fans are excited for this approach towards the story.
The trailer shows how young Sergei Kravinoff goes for hunting with his father and is not able to shoot a lion in time. The lion almost kills him and the blood of the lion mixes with his own blood and he is suddenly charged with the prowess of a lion. He grows up with much daddy issues and goes on killing many people, becoming the dreaded ‘Kraven’.
The role of Kraven is played by Aaron Taylor Johnson and the role of his father is played by Russell Crowe. Apart from Kraven, there will be other Spider-man villains in the Spider-man spin-off as well. Fred Hechinger will play Chameleon and Alessandro Nivola will play the Rhino.
The trailer for the film was scheduled to be released later on but due to an unfortunate online leak, the makers decided to release it sooner. The film will hit the theaters on the 6th of October. Fans are excited to see the new Marvel villain in his origin story.
