Kung Fu Panda 4 India Release Date And Platform Out!

Much-loved panda Po returned to the big screen this year in Kung Fu Panda 4, the latest edition of the popular Kung Fu Panda film series. The film released in theatres on 8th March, 2024, and became production company DreamWorks Animation’s highest-grossing animated film in the first weekend since Madagascar 3 in 2012. Kung Fu Panda 4 became a box office hit, as well as received largely positive reviews from critics and audiences.

Now, more than a month later, Kung Fu Panda 4 is gearing up to release on digital platforms, albeit on rent. In India, Kung Fu Panda 4 will be available to rent on the Prime Video India Rental Store as well as on BookMyShow Stream. The movie will be available to rent in English and Hindi.

Animated movie Kung Fu Panda 4 is produced by DreamWorks Animation, directed by Mike Mitchell, co-directed by Stephanie Ma Stine, and written by Darren Lemke. The new installment of the film features Jack Black reprising his role of Po, along with Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu, James Hong as Mr. Ping, Bryan Cranston as Li Shan, and Ian McShane as Tai Lung.

New entrants in Kung Fu Panda 4 are Awkwafina as Zhen the fox, Ke Huy Quan as Han the pangolin, Ronny Chieng as Captain Fish, Lori Tan Chinn as Granny Boar, and Viola Davis as primary antagonist, The Chameleon, a nefarious shape-shifting chameleon sorceress that can copy others’ kung fu by absorbing their abilities.

The story of Kung Fu Panda 4 follows Po, who must find and train his successor as the new Dragon Warrior, while he teams up with fox bandit Zhen to defeat the evil sorceress, the Chameleon, before she steals the kung-fu abilities of all masters in China.
