The official trailer for ‘Kurangu Pedal’ is out now. The movie is directed by Kamalakannan and tells the story of a little child with innocent and specific dreams.
The movie will have actors like V. R. Ragavan, Santhosh Velmurugan, Kaali Venkat, Jensan Diwaker and many child actors. From the trailer, the performances look really good. And the music is also at par.
Kurangu Pedal will tell the story of a little boy named Mariappan who is determined to learn how to cycle. In the village Katheri, being able to ride the bicycle is a very big thing and Mariappan does not want to be mocked at by the villagers. His father, played by Kaali Venkat, has not learned how to ride the cycle and is jeered at by everyone. The father son relationship will be explored with multiple angles in the movie. Mariappan’s desperation to learn the cycle is portrayed superbly. Hopefully the movie will turn out to be more fascinating than the trailer. The movie was in production for a long time and was postponed a few times. Finally we will get to see the light hearted Feelgood children’s drama, which is so rare these days.
Kurangu Pedal is inspired by the short story ‘Cycle’ written by Rasi Azhagappan. The film is produced by actor Sivakarthikeyan under the banner of Sivakarthikeyan Productions. The movie will be hitting the theaters on the 3rd of May.
