Kuttey is finally coming to OTT. The film had a big and illustrious cast that included Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Radhika Madan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kumud Mishra and Shardul Bhardwaj.
The film marks the directorial debut of Vishal Bhardwaj’s son Aasmaan Bhardwaj. The premise of the film truly justifies the title. If you have seen them in the presence of too many stray dogs, they usually struggle for food thrown at them.
The same happens in the film. A van carrying crores of cash is passing through a street. Three criminal gangs get to know the hold of the information and now they will hunt for the cash.
That hunt goes wild and entertaining as well. Do not expect fun to be as crazy as you have seen in films like Kaminey. The film is extremely amateurish in terms of execution and even the dialogues are poor.
You would feel that it has not been made by Vishal Bhardwaj so keep your expectations low. Regardless, the film was terribly received in the theaters and people downright rejected it. It had superstrong actors like Shah, Tabu, and Radhika Madan but the presence of not so great colleagues also affects the impact of their performance.
The film will be available to stream from the 16th of March only on Netflix.
