Laal Singh Chaddha, the next project by Aamir Khan gets a new release date. This high budget and the anticipated project has been in talks right since the last project of Aamir, Thugs of Hindostan. But it was delayed heavily due to covid and other factors. This film is a remake of the 1994 movie Forrest Gump. The legendary Tom Hanks movie was based on a boy who was considered retarded and physically weak. But soon after he grew up he proved everybody wrong and achieved some things that were unimaginable by a person who would consider himself to be normal.
It will be interesting to see how much of that is emulated into Laal Singh Chaddha. Regardless, we all know what a perfectionist Mr Aamir Khan is and it will be interesting to see what he comes up with. Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be playing a very important role in the film. Speculations say that her role will be inspired by that of Jenny from Forrest Gump. Just like every Aamir Khan movie, Lal Singh Chaddha was also scheduled to be released on Christmas day. But, it has been postponed again and we’ll see its release on 14th April 2022.
Talking about the release date, it is also important to note doctor Lal Singh Chadha will be clashing with another very big project. Kannada film KGF 2 that is highly anticipated all across India is also seeing its release date on the same. Mind you that Sanjay Dutt will also be playing a very important role alongside Yash in the film. If this class is not averted then both the films can be seen fighting for screen shares. It will definitely hamper the box office collection of both the films but will be interesting anyway. However, the makers can reschedule the movie, just like Gangubai Kathiyawadi postponed its release date to avoid the clash with RRR.
