Vishwak Sen’s 12th film is now announced and it is titled ‘Laila’. Vishwak Sen himself plays the titular role. Yes, you might get surprised, but the ‘eye-look’ for the movie was released today and the actor is all made up in a new look to look like a ‘Laila’.
The movie is slated for a release on the 14th of February next year. The Valentine’s Day release makes fans assume that the movie will have a romantic theme. The flowers and the butterflies in the poster accentuate the guesses more. The movie will be directed by Ram Narayan and the shooting is about to start. It is being produced by Sahu Garapati under the banner of Shine Screens. Tanisha Bagchi and Ghibran Vaibodha will handle the music.
Vishwak Sen has played many rough and tough guys but this is the first time he puts on eye-liner and eye-shadow in the eyes, a bindi on his forehead and applies blush on the cheeks. The whole face is not visible from the first look poster, but from what can be seen, it looks strikingly similar to ‘Dream Girl’. Even Ayushman Khurrana’s make-up was very similar to Vishwak’s. There is a possibility that ‘Laila’ will be a remake of ‘Dream Girl’. However, there are no offical announcements from the makers of Dream Girl.
