But in a bummer for Indian fans of ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ helmer Frank Darabont’s massively popular post-apocalyptic series ‘The Walking Dead’, they were in for an unpleasant surprise because the streamer did not release the last eight episodes for the show’s eleventh season in India.
Yes, on the Netflix OTT app, for ‘The Walking Dead’ Season-11, out of a total of 24 episodes, which have already been released in the US, only Episodes 1-16 are currently streaming here in India. Which means the last eight episodes (17-24) are not available for streaming on Netflix India.
Let us inform our readers that most AMC content arrives on Netflix India one year after its US premiere. ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 11 aired in three parts of eight episodes each. Season 11 Part-3 premiered on AMC in the US in October 2022. So, it is expected to premiere on Netflix India one year later, in October 2023.
