The second season of ‘Carnival Row’ which also happens to be the final season of the franchise is going to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on the 17th of February.
Carnival Row is an American fantasy series and it is based on the script of an unfinished film by Travis Beacham, ‘A Killing On The Carnival Row’. The show is created by Beacham and René Echevarria.
The first season had eight episodes and premiered on the 30th of August in 2019. The show follows the story of a mythical land where a war breaks out and the land is in ruins because of the heavy battles. The mythical beings have to escape and take refuge in human societies. In one human city, things go out of control and there is a constant tension between the citizens and the refugees. A detective on the other hand, investigates murders and various crimes that are associated with the mythical immigrants.
The show has wonderful actors like Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne in leading roles and has other actors like Simon McBurney, Tamzin Merchant, David Gyasi, Andrew Gower, Karla Crome, Arty Froushan, Indira Varma and Jared Harris in the cast. The music of the show is composed by Nathan Barr. Various episodes of the first season were directed by directors like Andy Goddard, Jon Amiel, Thor Freudenthal and Anna Foerster. The stars will be reprising their roles again in the second season and there is a chance of the directors directing the episodes in it too.
