Shine Tom Chacko started his career as an assistant film director and carved a name for himself in the Malayalam film industry. He has also established a solid rapport as an actor. Vijay Thalapathy needs no introduction as he is one of the most charismatic and influential figures in the South Indian cinema who has churned out mass entertainers and box office successes time and time again.
Thalapathy 65 seems to be headed to create huge waves in the box office yet again as Shine Tom Chacko is believed to have been roped to play a role in this film. The film is tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 65’ as it will be the 65th film of Vijay.
Thalapathy 65 will be written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Pooja Hegde will play the role of the leading lady and the music for the film will be provided by Anirudh. Vijay Thalapathy’s last outing was the Lokesh Kanagaraj directed ‘Master’ that just went on to prove how big of a star Thalapathy really is. The film pitted both the top Vijay’s against each other as the audiences just couldn’t get enough of it. (Vijay Sethupathi and Vijay Thalapathy played characters that were against each other).
Even with less occupancy in theatres and so many other challenges the film did great business at the box office and helped the traditional film industry get a bit of a breather in what has been a really tough time for them.
With everything going around it seems safe to say that the film may release only in 2022 but there has been no official statement as of now.
