The highly rated Netflix series ‘The Crown’ that will enter the 21st century in the fifth and sixth season, has had a slew of cast changes for these final two seasons. This includes Jonathan Pryce who will be seen as new Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in place of Tobias Menzies.
Also, Imelda Staunton (Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix, Downtown Abbey) will play Queen Elizabeth and Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread, Ordinary Love) will play Princess Margaret. They will be replacing Olivia Colman and Helena Bonham Carter respectively.
While the Crown S4 will be streaming later this year on Netflix, the audience will have to wait a little longer for the fifth and sixth season that will start filming in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
