Power star Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer Telugu remake of the hit Malayalam film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ has set Sankranthi 2022 as its release date. The shoot for the film, following all COVID-19 protocols,resumed recently in Hyderabad.
Making the release date announcement the makers of Production No. 12 have dropped a video giving a glimpse from the sets of the yet to be titled film.
The video features on set and behind the scene footages of Pawan Kalyan as Bheemla Nayak, a gritty police officer and Rana Daggubati in an intense avatar with the crew members prepping for the shoot in full swing. (Catch the video at the end of the article!)
Also known as PSPKRana, the film also stars Aishwarya Rajesh (‘Vada Chennai’, ‘Ka Pae Ranasingham’) in addition to Pawan Kalyan (‘Tholi Prema’, ‘Gopala Gopala’, ‘Vakeel Saab’) and Rana Daggubati (‘Baahubali’, ‘The Ghazi Attack’).
Saagar K Chandra, known for critically acclaimed films like ‘Appatlo Okadundevadu’ and ‘Ayyare’, is set to direct Production No. 12. The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi for Sithara Entertainment. Thaman S (‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, ‘Krack’) has composed music for the film with screenplay and dialogues from National Award winning writer Trivikram (‘A Aa’, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, ‘S/O Satyamurthy’).
Sankranthi 2022 release gains more prominence given the fact that Mahesh Babu’s much awaited ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ too is targeting for the same. With high expectations from both the films and stars, It will be interesting to see who comes out as a winner of this mega clash.
