Absolute Binge Entertainment (ABE), a subsidiary company of the Absolute India Newspaper Group has acquired the story rights of a new web series based on a mission undertaken by Delhi cop Seema Dhaka.
The web series that is yet to be titled will follow Seema’s journey as she rescued 76 children, who were missing for 7-8 years, in under three months. Seema Dhaka was honoured with an out of turn promotion for this wonderful feat of hers.
No further details about who would play the role of Seema and the rest of the cast and crew or the streaming platform have been revealed by Absolute Binge Entertainment, who is making he web series. The series is set to go on floors soon.
Previously, we have had films like Rani Mukherjee’s ‘Mardaani’ and Vidya Balan‘s ‘Kahaani 2’ where strong women characters took charge and rescued women and children.
Absolute India Newspaper Group, the parent company of Absolute Binge Entertainment, is owned by Yogendra Chautervedi.
