Lawmen: Bass Reeves: Western Action Drama To Stream From This Date!

The official trailer of ‘Lawmen: Bass Reeves’ is out now. It will be a western action drama created by Chad Feehan.

The Paramount original will be premiering on the fifth of November this year. As per the deals of Viacom18 with Paramount, the show will be streaming on JioCinema in the Indian territories.

There will be eight episodes in the miniseries and five of them will be directed by Christina Voros. The cast of the show includes actors like David Oyelowo, Dennis Quaid, Forrest Goodluck, Lauren E. Banks, Barry Pepper, Grantham Coleman, Demi Singleton and Garrett Hedlund. ‘Yellowstone’ fame Taylor Sheridan serves as an executive producer of the show.

The show will be telling the story of Bass Reeves, who was the first black Deputy U.S Marshal. His rise to such heights from the abominable pits of slavery is really a story worth documenting in a series. Chad Feehan says, “Growing up in Texas, I heard a lot of stories about Bass Reeves. They were always akin to a dime novel hero with incredibly fanciful flourishes of a gunslinging lawman pursuing the most-hardened outlaws in the Wild West.”

The trailer is intriguing and promises a wonderful story. The visuals are exquisite and the color grading is done perfectly. Music is composed aptly for the show. Chanda Dancyhas closed the music for ‘Lawmen: Bass Reeves’. And the performances look commendable. David Oyelow looks convincing as Bass Reeves. Watch it when it releases on the 5th of November if you like western dramas.
