We had already reported about TVN Original “Our Blues” first teaser last week. The makers have dropped a fresh teaser recently. While the first teaser was giving off happy vibes introducing all the major cast members, the second teaser looks like a journey of healing. Supposedly an outlook at the characters played by both Lee Byung Hun and Shin Min-ah, the new teaser also throws light at their shared history.
The teaser opens to Shin Min-ah arriving at the Jeju Island looking unhappy. We are also introduced to Lee Byung Hun who stares at her from afar evidently hinting at a shared past. The subtitles then read, “The one who walked over me has come back looking even more pathetic than me.” He asks her angrily if she knew him to which she admits, “I do.” He further asks her “So you couldn’t say a Hi or ask me how I was doing?”. We are then shown flashbacks of both Lee Byung Hun and Shin Min-ah’s characters as teenagers seemingly close to each other. The former is seen saving the latter and taking care of her. Cut back to the present day, they seem to have regained their lost emotional connection, but there is still something Shin Min-ah’s character hides and Lee Byung Hun seeks an answer for.
“Our Blues” is an omnibus-style drama that centres around the sweet, sour, and bitter life stories of the inhabitants of the Jeju Island. The show is written by famous drama writer Noh Hee Kyung.
