A new show from the UK is going to premiere on Netflix soon. It is titled ‘Legends’ and it will be a drug gang drama. We have had interesting drug gang movies previously and it seems that ‘Legends’ will be a worthy addition to the oeuvre of such films.
The show will be based on a true story and have six episodes in total so it will be something that fans of miniseries will wait for. ‘Legends’ is being written by Neil Forsyth. Forsyth is known as the showrunner of the much popular British drama ‘The Gold’.
Forsyth did extensive research for the story and came up with a script that Netflix has readily liked. It will be covering the struggle of the UK government against drug dealers all over the state in the 90s. When the law enforcers became sure that they will not be able to stop the Smugglers with traditional ways, they decided to employ some new techniques. A new team of British custom officers were sent undercover to bust these rackets and they came up with unprecedented results.
The team was named ‘Legends’ and these were commoners who were picked to do the job and had no experience or training in spying or intelligence agencies. This unbelievable feat is indeed a story that needs to be told to the world.
