In 2023, the Indian film industry witnessed the thunderous arrival of “Leo,” an action-packed Tamil thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Vijay in the lead role. After dominating the theaters and setting box office records, “Leo” is now making its way to Netflix India. The film, which was released in theaters on October 19, 2023, garnered mixed reviews from critics but soared to become a massive theatrical success.
Now, the exciting news for movie enthusiasts is that “Leo” is all set to premiere on Netflix India on November 21. Although it has not been announced officially this is almost confirmed if not confirmed already.
The enormous success of Leo is a great indication that it would go on earning even bigger success on OTT but we can’t possibly be sure. The reason? A lot of titles that are not cinematically good have to suffer through trolling from cinephiles after OTT release. It may be the same with Leo as it happened with Vijay’s very own Varisu.
Anyways, Leo has Vijay in the titular role, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Trisha, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Madonna Sebastian, George Maryan, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand and Mathew Thomas.
