Netflix revealed the cast of its latest series ‘Mismatched’ with some quirky posters of each young actor. Mismatched is a unique romantic comdey series that was part of the seventeen titles announced by Netflix a while ago. The trailer for the same will come out this Friday i.e. on 6th November, 2020.
The lead cast for Netflix’s ‘Mismatched’ includes popular YouTube sensation Prajakta Koli as Dimple and ‘The Sky Is Pink’ star Rohit Saraf as Rishi. Other than these two, there is youth icon Ranvjiay Singha as Sid, a snarky yet charismatic professor.
Other than the above, we have Muskkaan Jaferi as Celina who is known for her work in Vandana Kataria’s ‘Noblemen’. Those who don’t know she is legendary late veteran actor Jagdeep’s daughter. Then there is Devyani Shorey as Namrata, Vihaan Samat as Harsh, Kritika Bharadwaj as Simran, Taaruk Raina as Anmol and Abhinav Sharma as Krish.
The series will follow a mismatched couple who along with their unique group of friends will be forced by their professor to think out of the box and build an amazing app. The journey won’t be an easy one for them but the series surely promises a fun ride with all these fresh faces.
Director Akarsh Khurana describes ‘Mismatched’ as, “Don’t you love a pair of know it alls who really don’t know it at all? He’s searching for his happily ever after. She dreams of being a techwizard. Over three months, this mismatched couple must build an amazing app while navigating an oddball bunch of friends, nasty bullies, a snooty professor and well each other.”
Mismatched is written by Gazal Dhaliwal and produced by RSVP Movies for Netflix. While the trailer for this young romantic series is coming out on 6th November, the release date for ‘Mismatched’ has not been revealed as of yet by Netflix.
