The post further apprised us that the film would be about a newly engaged and spoiled hotel heiress, who finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter after getting total amnesia in a skiing accident.
In the above post, no other details pertaining to the film’s director and the other cast members were mentioned. Neither the film’s title appears to have been finalized yet. However, the Netflix film is being described as a holiday film like its other holiday-themed films like ‘A Christmas Prince’ and ‘Jingle Jangle’.
The Netflix film is being touted as Lindsay Lohan’s acting comeback of sorts, as her last major appearance was for MTV’s reality series ‘Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club’ that was aired between January to March 2019 besides appearing as a judge in the Australian reality television singing competition ‘The Masked Singer’, amongst other projects.
The multi-talented performer, born and brought up in New York, first came into the limelight with Walt Disney’s 1998 family comedy film ‘The Parent Trap’, where she adeptly essayed the double role of twins separated after birth. Lohan’s performance in the film was widely admired by the audience.
Subsequently, she became part of projects like ‘Freaky Friday’, where she featured alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. Lohan’s performance in this mother-daughter film was even compared by an eminent critic to that of accomplished Hollywood actress Judie Foster.
Later the 34-year-old actress starred in teen comedy films like Disney’s ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’ and ‘Mean Girls’, which was said to be Lohan’s first non-Disney movie. Her performance in ‘Mean Girls’ was again met with critical acclaim and praise, further cementing her status as the new teen movie queen.
