Lionsgate Play India has announced its next original Indian series ‘Jugaadistan’ from ‘Mismatched’ director Akarsh Khurana. Set to premiere on Lionsgate Play on 4th March, 2022, ‘Jugaadistan’ is second such Indian original series from Lionsgate Play after Lara Dutta starrer ‘Hiccups and Hookups’.
Starring an ensemble cast of Sumeet Vyas, Arjun Mathur, Parambrata Chatterjee, Gopal Datt, Ahsaas Channa, Taaruk Raina, Rukshar Dhillon and more, ‘Jugaadistan’ on Lionsgate Play is a story revolving around college, politics, love, friendship and everything in between. Other cast members include Himika Bose and Danish Sood.
Revealing the poster on social media Lionsgate Play described ‘Jugaadistan’ as a world where whether it’s love, friendship, politics or a money making scheme, everyone part of this world has an ultimate ‘Jugaad’ for it. The poster features the lead cast members sitting on the staircase with books and posters as props.
Given the show’s premise and the talented bunch of people both behind and infront the camera, Lionsgate Play’s ‘Jugaadistan’ looks promising enough to attract viewers especially the younger generation. The series will offer a unique look into the campus politics and will not be that generic chirpy college drama.
‘Jugaadistan’ will launch on Lionsgate Play India on 4th March, 2022.
