Kajal Aggarwal is playing the lead role in Disney+Hotstar Exclusive web series titled Live Telecast. The horror series is directed by critically-acclaimed Tamil Director, Venkat Prabhu. The web series will be premiered on February 12th and the OTT major has intensified the promotions ahead of the big day. They have so far released two songs.
This morning, Vijay Sethupathi revealed the second single ‘Naam Indru’ Naam Indru has been composed by Premgi Amaren and is sung by SP. Charan with lyrics penned by Aishwarya M. The song is a melody on the ups and downs of friendship.
While the songs have been good, there is a discussion on social media about why there are songs in the web series. Moreover, it is a horror-thriller and if the songs are not rightly placed, they will hinder the flow of the story. Usually, songs are known to be spread breakers even in films and they will be a problem further in a web-series. Originally made in Tamil, the web-series will also be available in Telugu, Malayalam Kannada, and Hindi audios. As of now, the promotions are predominantly for the Tamil audience even though Kajal commands a huge following in Telugu. This web-series also happens to her first release after marriage.
