Loki Disney+ Season 2: This Kang Variant May Return To Wreak Havoc

One of the most important characters of Loki Season 1 may return in the second installment, which will arrive gloriously on October 6 on the Disney+ streaming platform.

We already know that Jonathan Majors is a part of Season 2. Though, he will play Victor Timely, another Kang variant, in the forthcoming season. The character debuted in the MCU through the post-credits scene of ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’. However, he is not the only Kang variant that will appear in the second season.

According to The Cosmic Circus, He Who Remains, the very first Kang variant, will return in Loki Season 2. Majors will once again don the robes of one of the most “benevolent” variants of Kang. In addition, his scenes will not take place right after Season 1’s climax. Instead, he is rumoured to get new scenes with the mischievous protagonist at The Void and the Citadel at the End of Time.

He Who Remains’ return makes sense as it gives showrunners a chance to bestow a “full circle” moment to the fans and the story told in the first season. Sylvie took her revenge after killing the character in Season 1’s finale.

The former protector of the Sacred Timeline, He Who Remains, is not as ruthless as other Kang variants. But it doesn’t make the guy a good person. He will do whatever it takes to protect the timeline, even if his job forces him to take someone’s life. Season 1 revealed that he emerged victorious in an eons-spanning war against other variants who wanted to take control of the entire Multiverse. This scenario forced him to lay the foundation of the TVA (Time Variance Authority).

Loki Season 2 will arrive on Disney+ Hotstar on October 6. Stay tuned for more updates.
