Marvel Studios has just dropped the first trailer for the new Season 2 of its well-received Disney Plus show, ‘Loki‘. And the God Of Mischief, aka Loki, is back with more time-warping chaos and craziness. For those who don’t know, Loki Season 2 will premiere on Disney Plus on 6th October, 2023. The show will premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar in India, which is the Indian arm of Disney Plus.
British actor Tom Hiddleston is back as Loki in Loki Season 2, as are Owen Wilson as Mobius, Jonathon Majors as Kang and Sophia DiMartino as Sylvie. Owen Wilson’s return in Loki Season 2 is a relief for fans of the character, as he had to go through a lot in Loki Season 1.
Oscar-winning movie Everything Everywhere All At Once’s breakout star Ke Huy Quan makes a smashing appearance in the trailer for Loki Season 2. He works for the Time Variance Authority, helping to put right the chaos set into motion by errant characters ravaging timelines in the multiverse. ‘Game of Thrones’ actor Kate Dickie is the other new entrant in Loki Season 2. He will play a villain in the new season of Loki.
The Loki Season 2 trailer is chaotic and fast-paced, much as we expect the new season of the beloved show to be. Eugene Cordero, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Tara Strong, Rafael Casal, among others, will also reprise their roles in the new season of Loki.
We get just a tiny glimpse of Jonathan Majors in the trailer for Loki Season 2. That too is picked from the post-credits scene of Antman And The Wasp: Quantumania. Readers may recall that Jonathon Majors is embroiled in a domestic assault case since March this year. This may be the reason why Marvel has reduced him to a tiny appearance in the Loki Season 2 trailer.
