Well, well, well! The God of Mischief has returned, and his return was chaotic but highly entertaining. Amidst watching Loki’s time slipping between past, present, and future, many MCU fans witnessed a scene that they believe shares a strong connection with the X-Men.
Season 2’s opening episode, “Ouroboros”, opened with a bang. Right from the get-go, the episode establishes Kang as a villain to be taken very seriously and shows many of TVA’s employees, such as Mobius and Hunter B-15, losing their minds after discovering the real truth of their workplace. Amidst this scenario, we witness Loki warping uncontrollably across time in the TVA. This forces Mobius and Loki to meet Ouroboros to find a solution for Loki’s time-slipping. Soon, the trio, along with B-15, goes to the Temporal Loom, and here’s when things get really interesting.
As Mobius, Loki, and Ouroboros enter the Loom, we see a big white gate popping up on our screens, sharing a striking resemblance to the Cerebro in Fox’s X-Men universe. Nearly one week ago, Marvel Studios revealed that they have started accepting pitches for a new MCU X-Men movie.

What does this mean? Will the ongoing Loki Season 2 forge some sort of connection with X-Men? No one knows about that. It is possible that the events of the second season could lead to the X-Men’s appearance in Deadpool 3.
