Love And Leashes: Forget Series This Korean Film Is Wooing India

Whenever we think about Korean content then their music and series comes to our head. It is a very rare occasion when Korean movies become the centre of conversation amidst series and BTS.

With exceptions such as Parasite, Train To Busan, we do not have much to talk about. But a Korean film is currently making a space for itself. Not only that, it is also trending at Number 7 in India.

Surprisingly, this Korean film was nowhere in the list when Netflix released the list of their Top 10 films last week.

Needless to say the film has picked up momentum very recently but is currently ruling the charts nonetheless.

Regardless, Love And Leashes is a romantic comedy directed by Hyeon-jin Park. She is famous for this particular genre as her “Like For Likes” fall in the same category.

It includes Seo Ju-hyun and Lee Jun-young in the lead role.

The film is based on the subject of BDSM just like the Fifty Shades Series. But unlike the world of Christian Grey, this one is more intense and layered.

The protagonists meet in an office where they agree to play Dom-Sub just for the sake of exploring their fantasies. But unlike the popular norm, the lady is the dominant one and the man is submissive.

Going by this, the film does not portray the man any less masculine and the woman any less feminine.

This is indeed a path-breaking film and deserves the position it is enjoying currently.
