Sitcoms are one of the most admired genres. Netflix has a lot of sitcoms in its slate but not many of them are Netflix originals. But now, the steaming giant is trying to up its game by ordering a new sitcom ‘Country Comfort.’ The release of this show will mark Netflix‘s 20th Original sitcom.
‘Country Comfort’ stars Katharine McPhee as the lead, Bailey. She plays the role of an aspiring country singer. After Bailey’s car breakdown, she knocks at a door for help where she’s mistaken to be a nanny. However, she accepts the job of taking care of 5 children of a rugged cowboy Beau. Bailey will be the tenth nanny Beau hires because all the previous nine struggled to keep his children in check! Eventually, the kids grow close to their nanny who ends being the mother-figure they’ve missed. Not just the kids but also Bailey finds her comfort in them. She finds her own little band in their musically talented family, who help her pursue her singing dream again.
Netflix will drop ‘Country Comfort’ on 19th March 2021. The show will consist of 10 episodes with approximately 25 minutes run-time. This sitcom-comedy series is created by Caryn Lucas. The star cast consists of Katharine McPhee, Eddie Cibrian, Ricardo Hurtado, Jamie Martin Mann, Pyper Braun, Shiloh Verrico, Griffin McIntyre, Janet Varney and Eric Balfour. This upcoming Netflix Original is going to be filled with love, humor, innocence and heartfelt emotions, making it completely entertaining and a perfect family watch!
